In the context of a rapidly developing economy and increasingly demanding labor market requirements, student training should not only focus on theoretical knowledge but also emphasize practical skills and the ability to adapt to real-world work environments. Internships play a particularly important role in the training process, helping students apply their learned knowledge to specific business situations. Through internships, students have the opportunity to access a professional work environment, hone their professional skills, communication skills, and professional conduct. For students of the Faculty of Finance & Accounting - Van Hien University, internships are not only a mandatory requirement in the training program but also a bridge between theory and practice, contributing to improving the quality of training and the ability to meet the needs of the labor market.

In early March 2026, immediately after the Lunar New Year holiday, students from the Faculty of Finance & Accounting, Van Hien University, simultaneously began their professional internship program. Students were assigned to intern at various economic entities in Ho Chi Minh City, including commercial banks, service businesses, trading companies, and manufacturing companies. Many of the internship recipients were familiar partners with long-standing collaborations with the faculty and the university in practical training. Organizing simultaneous internships allowed students to experience a real-world work environment, observe business processes, and apply their specialized knowledge. This also provided employers with an opportunity to assess students' capabilities and strengthen the link between the university and businesses. This activity contributed to the effective implementation of the faculty's training program, which integrates theory with practice.

After graduation, many students were offered full-time positions at the same companies where they completed their internships. The internship process allowed them to demonstrate their professional skills, work ethic, and ability to adapt to the corporate environment. Many alumni, after becoming full-time employees, continued to support and mentor subsequent internship cohorts. This contributed to the formation of a lasting connection between generations of students and the companies that provided their internships.
