The Faculty of financial accounting, originally part of the Economics Department (Accounting and Finance - Banking group), was established in 1999 at Van Hien University. The department aims to meet the training and development needs of individuals interested in pursuing careers in specialized fields such as Accounting, Auditing, and Finance – Banking. In response to the high demand for high-quality labor in society, the Accounting and Finance Department continuously innovates and develops training programs, keeping them updated with both national and international advanced training programs. Throughout its formation and development, the department has consistently added new training fields.

Applied Orientation Program:
In addition to academic development, the Accounting and Finance Department has established partnerships with reputable businesses, especially banks, both domestic and international, to provide students with opportunities for practical experience and exposure to the business environment while still in school. This is evident in the department's training programs, and each year, students have the opportunity to be selected for internships with major banks such as Sacombank, NamABank, HDBank, as part of their talent recruitment programs.
Vibrant Student Life Experience:
Students engage in vibrant and lively student life through various community service activities and events, such as "Volunteer Spring," "Green Summer Campaign", "Van Hien Student Day," "Van Hien's got talents" competition, "Van Hien Student Beauty" competition, and traditional VHU camp. With over 30 clubs and groups affiliated with the University's Youth Union and Associations, students explore hidden values to become the best version of themselves.

FUTURE DEVELOPMENT FOCUS
Expand fields of study and levels of education, continuously improve programs based on applied orientation, and meet the demands of the labor market.
Develop the faculty, enhance teaching methods with a focus on practical experience, recruit foreign lecturers, and establish mentoring models.
Strengthen and select international partners, maintain relationships with businesses domestically and internationally to provide students with internship, study abroad, and employment opportunities.
Develop clubs and groups related to each major, promote exchange activities and competitions to create an environment for students to unleash their talents and gain inspiration in their academic journey and youth experience at university.
